Our fees at IOC

Note: As contracted provider with Medicare and MHCP, IOC is required to submit claims and may not allow our patients to opt out of using their insurance.

New Patient Exam ($58-$93) – Charged at initial visit or if patient has not been in for over 3 years (varies depending on complexity and regions of the body)

Established Patient Exam ($43-$73) – charged when there is a new injury or if patient has not been in for over 6 months (varies depending on complexity and region of the body)

24 Hour Cancellation Fee (Up to $50)  – charged when appointments are cancelled less than 24 hours and charged per appointment (ex. massage/chiropractic)

    • We also treat Automobile Accidents and Worker’s Compensation Claims

    NOTE:

    • Dr. Hendrickson is out of network with Cigna, Healthpartners, and Ucare. All Chiropractic claims for services rendered by Dr. Hendrickson that are submitted will be processed as out of network which may result in a higher out of pocket for you.

    • IOC is NOT in BlueCross BlueShield network. All claims for services submitted to BCBS will be processed out of network which may result in higher out of pocket for you.

    • The other option is to go with Self Pay.

    Although we are in most insurance networks, there are plans within the networks that are not always covered, so please check with your insurance.  

    Also, be sure to state which service you are looking at whether Physical Therapy or Chiropractic as they vary with each plan.

    We are required to file a claim when a patient presents health insurance for which we are in-network.

    A Self-pay patient is either:

    Uninsured

    Has an insurance plan for which we are not in network

    Has reached the maximum limit from their insurance

    Their insurance normally covers the procedure, but has deemed their care ‘not medically necessary’ or ‘maintenance’.

    Their insurance does not cover the specific procedure

    **All self-pay patients pay in full at the time of visit for our services and we are not required to file a claim or submit any documentation to a third party.

    **All self pay patients must sign a financial disclosure stating that they acknowledge their responsibility for payment before receiving treatment.
