Dr. Richard Hills holds degrees and licenses in both Chiropractic and Physical Therapy, graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University with honors in 1993, receiving the degree Doctor of Chiropractic (DC).  He graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1985 receiving his degree in Physical Therapy (PT), graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Hills has extensive post-graduate training completing residency training in a neurological physical therapy-rehabilitation approach called PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) at the world renowned Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in the San Francisco area.  He also received 2 years of post-graduate training through the acclaimed Folsom Physical Therapy Orthopedic Manual Therapy program leading to a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapist (FAAOMPT).

Dr. Hills also has extensive additional chiropractic training in the Gonstead Methodology approach to chiropractic.  This combination of advanced training in chiropractic and physical therapy approaches to patient care provides for a unique combination of professional clinical examination and treatment options for non-surgical pain or injury of the spine and extremities.

Adding to this one of a kind clinical training and background, Dr. Hills started his career in 1980 as an athletic trainer, working with several Colleges in California providing care for sports and athletic injuries at both the collegiate and professional levels.  On the field and treatment room sports injury training and experience provides one of the 3 corner stones for the clinical approach used by Dr. Hills, specifically; Chiropractic, Orthopedic and Neurological Physical Therapy and Sports Injury-Sports Medicine.

Dr. Hills has lectured nationally and internationally, as well as co-authored and published on topics related to the examination, treatment and rehabilitation of spinal and extremity disorders.
